YSL Créme De Blush

Oh look at it, look how gorgeous it is! I was so lucky to be given this by my friend for no reason! What a babe, I remember eyeing it up though and thinking, good golly thats a pretty pink!
This is a blush but if you like matte lip colours, I would so use this on my lips too, mine are too dry right now but you wait, it will happen!

it's a strange consistancy, creme, whipped? Who knows, It's super soft though!

Literally feels like rubbing velvet onto your skin, you might be into that!

So it's actually a really subtle colour once on, it can be scary though when you're unsure how much to put on, but building is key!
I will be using this more and more I feel! Summer is over, i'm going to throw the bronzer to the bottom of my make up bag and opt for this and feel all cheery and pink!
I'm so glad my friend gave me this! I love everything about it! The packaging, the smell (of course the YSL scent), the colour, the feel... everything! I want one in every colour!!!

Have you tried this?!

Revlon Photo Ready Perfecting Primer

What is is: A Base/Primer
By: Revlon
Price: £11.99
What it's meant to do: Smooth out pores, blur wrinkles & keep make up on for longer
What it does: The opposite

So, here we have the new(ish) Primer by Revlon. It fits in with their whole Photo Ready range which goes through to mascaras, concealers and foundation.
I picked this up as I adore my No7 Airbrush away primer which I ran out of but as I was given that for free by Boots I was hesitant to pay £19.50 for another one! So this looked like it would be the closest call! The textures similar as are the claims, they're both supposed to give a smooth airbrushed finish under foundation one was just quite a bit cheaper but this is where I have to remember that quality and price are there for a reason most of the time.
The No7 Primer does everything I want it to do. It glides onto the skin easily, leaves it soft and smooth and at the end of the day my make up is much better than if I wasn't wearing it.
The Revlon Primer does this;
This photo was as clear as I could get it but let me tell you in person it's terrible! Noway does it refine pores! Look how huge they look! It makes the foundation cling to my sexy girl moustache! It makes me look like I have these huge holes on my top lip and it is disgusting okay!?
I've tried this with Maybelline foundations, Rimmel, No7 & L'oreal and they're all terrible! Even a tinted moisturiser makes me look like I've bashed my face into my make up bag and hoped for the best! It is without a doubt the product I regret buying the most!

When you first feel the primer it actually feels really lovely! Its like a runnier version of the L'Oreal Primer which I've heard is amazing! But when you rub it in you can see it clinging to wrinkles and making the skin seem scaly! I think I used too much on the hand swatches but its easily done with this! It's so runny!

I gave this primer a fair shot! It's great value for money, I think the packaging's okay too but the product inside was a disaster!
This is so going back tomorrow I don't want it betraying me anymore!
Have you tried this? Was it okay for you or is my skin just mad at Revlon?
Let me know!!

NEW! Bourjois Black Jack Mascara!!

Image taken by me.

Bourjois Volume Clubbing Black Jack Mascara £7.99

So! Recently because of my job, I was lucky enough to get my hands on this little gem! I bought this the day it came in and I'm so glad I did! Opening up the silly box it came in I was amazed when these fell into my lap. At first, I loved the packaging, now... I'm not too sure. I always love new stuff because well.. it looks new. Bourjois are doing this whole blackjack theme right now with gold packaging. They have their chocolate bronzers which are turning blackjack (I hope only temp - I love those!) they have glitter body sprays in this range and of course, this mascara! I've been wanting to try the clubbing mascaras for a while but I've always been distracted by others so when this came in, it was mine!! My lashes are long and curly, so I only desire volume really and this does just that.
So the brush is like the other clubbing brushes, its a natural bristle one as opposed to plastic comb ones and its kinda only got bristles on the top and bottom which is good as it doesn't make the brush too big and difficult to work with as it allows you to build up the volume, hurrah!
Each time I use this I compare it to my volmume max also by bourjois which is just amazing and I would buy that over any mascara anyday, so what makes this mascara so special?

it's just a black mascara right?

view fullsided to see the glitter <3

No!! It's got itty bitty gold glitter in!! This sold it to me. I adore anything glittery so the fact I could have subtly glittery eyelashes which are also black and voluminous, perfect!!
Now there are no photos of this on as my camera isn't very good for close ups so sorry about that folks but it does make my eyelashes glittery! not as much as i hoped and somedays you see more than others, but its there!!!! It's such a great idea and does just add that little bit more sparkle into your everyday eye makeup!
I really rate this mascara, I wish the packaging was slightly classier or maybe just a bit more colourful but if thats all that is wrong with a product then thats okay with me! Of course I wished this was a bit more glittery but I realise not everyone likes glitter quite as much as I do, so I believe i'm just the exception to the rule.

So tell me! Are you excited about this, will you be getting it when it comes out. Bourjois is amazing am I right?
Anyhoos, ta ta!
